Member Update - 11 February 2019

We received a text from a Church member who was visiting Newport Beach from Utah and let us know that Elder West gave a beautiful closing prayer in a meeting for a Young Man leaving for the Raleigh NC mission. They also sent us a pictures of Michael with his companion, Elder Archibald while at Church. This individual that sent the message has a son serving in Anchorage Alaska and knows how it feels when you get a quick message and picture of your son. Thank you!!!!!!!!

Weekly Email - 11 February 2019

Hi Everyone,

Sorry my group email was a little short last week we were so busy moving everything around that my mind was just everywhere. But this week has been amazing we have taught a few people and been able to meet a lot of really great people in the wards. We serve 2 wards and we are the only missionaries in both so that's fun but we also get to work with the members a lot more because when teaching single women there has to be 3 of us there 16 or older. But we have had such a good time this first week and my companion Elder Archibald and I have been out for the same time! He is so great and I love working with him. I want to tell you what my motto on the mission has been since about my 3rd month it is HOPE IS KEY it is a really simple motto but when I have been studying the scriptures these 3 words pop into my head all the time. I can testify of the power of hope it is a power that helps you see in the eternal perspective it is the power that lets you enjoy to the end. And it helps us grow to be who Gods wants us to be. Next time you are reading the scriptures think about HOPE IS KEY and you will be surprised about what you will find. I love you all and am so grateful for the friends that have supported me and loved me have a great week.
