Weekly Email - 9 December 2019

Greetings family and friends!

This week was absolutely fantastic! We were able to set our good friends Tommy and Leslie on date! They are the sweetest women you will ever meet! Then we had 26 LESSONS!!!!!! Yes that's right 26. We had at least 2 lessons every night and it was really a miracle to us to be able to teach so much and help us improve our teaching. We shared a lot this week on light the world and how you can get daily prompts of little ways you can serve a specific person that day. And it's super cool! The more people that are lighting the world the less dark it will be! So please everyone that gets this email please please please go and sign up! You will increase your joy as you serve others in these small ways. There is everything from help a family member to give blood and all these things are such great opportunities. So please do it and give od yourself this Christmas. And for all those Spanish speakers out there Christ + mas, mas in Spanish is more. So let's remember the really spirit and meaning of having more Christ in us this Christmas season.

Weekly Email - 2 December 2019

Hey everyone.

So like I said in my last email. I'm in Mission Viejo right now. I've been here for a week and it's been pretty sweet. We have been focusing a lot of our efforts in have as many lessons with members of our congregations as possible and it has gone really well. We have been able to teach some powerful lessons thanks to the spirit!

Weekly Email and New Area - 25 November 2019

Hope you all had a good week. Mine was a weird and very good week. One of my comps just had surgery so we were going out with other missionaries a lot and then we did mostly if not only teaching and service this week which was pretty nice honestly. It was a fun week and I personally had a great week and learned a lot and it was just very positive for me. Last night I got a call that I was transferring that night so now I am in mission Viejo and I am having a wonderful time here and I have a super great new companion Elder Joos. I'm gonna miss my birth place of San Clemente but I've never been in Mission Viejo so I'm super pumped. Thanks everyone for your love and support. Weekly Email - 11 November 2019

Hi this week was really good! We worked hard throughout the week but weren't really seeing alot of success (which is ok). Then we kept working and really wanted to achieve our goals so then its Saturday we haven't found anyone new yet. Then we start going by all the people we know but aren't teaching and start to pick people up! We talk to absolutely everyone! And are bold in inviting and teaching! And by the end of Saturday we picked up 7 new people we are gonna start teaching and invited all of them to church! Then Sunday (yesterday) we had 4 people come to church and we set 1 of them on date for this month! It was cool to see how working hard and trusting the lord that we could accomplish our goals we were able to see then accomplished and exceeded! It was a really good week for that and I know and can testify that when our foundation in on Jesus Christ that even though the devil will send his winds and fiery darts everything will come out good in the end for us. We need not fear when we trust in the lord!

Zone Conference - 6 November 2019

It is zone conference time again. Michael was so happy to be back serving in San Clemente. This is the area that he first started his mission and has said to be his favorite so far.

Weekly Email - 28 October 2019

Hey everyone! 

I hope you had a good week because mine was great. To top it off we had a baptism on Saturday of a family of 3! They are the sweetest people ever and it was a really wonderful experience! There was a great sense of joy that filled the room from this families choice to follow Christ! We also saw a lot of progression in our other friends which was also a fantastic experience! Seeing people really follow the savior is such a powerful and wonderful thing that I cherish so much and will never forget! This week was full of tiny miracles and I know that if you look for them that your life is too. So look for those tiny experiences that make your days bright!

Weekly Email - 21 October 2019

Hi everyone,

I really apologize for not sending emails lately I have been stressed and doing a lot at once lately. We had a really cool week last week. Here are some of the highlights from it. 

1) we were trying to get into a gate and we couldn't unless someone would drive through before us. So we prayed and then a truck came 3 seconds later!

2) after getting in we were le to give a blessing to a woman we have been trying to meet for a long time. And we met her and her daughter and it was such a great opportunity.

3) we tried to meet someone who lives in our area and her gate was closed and we could not open it. And right when we were about to leave her husband opened the door and we talked to him!

4) we had a really fun service project where we took trees out and now my hands hurt from all the chopping and pulling because we only had the tools to get them out by hand and we did it and then felt really good at the end! That was my week. I am still in San Clemente, transfers were today and we are a trio now. Me, Elder Dyer, and, Elder Earl! Thanks for all your support love you all.
