This past week was crazy. I was still in Newport but in a different wards than i usually was before so it was all kind of new but it has been really cool to learn this past week in a new area and from a new companion! But now I have a new companion again and it is going to be super great! I really learned how to really minister to the one even more it was great. I also got the opportunity to read the Book of Mormon with a man that is less active every day and that was a super cool experience that was great to apply every chapter to whatever he was going through that day! Well thats all for today folks! If you have any questions feel free to ask! Love you all and stay cool. Its about 97 degrees here!

Transfers (Two) - 3 June 2019

Michael was transferred twice this week. There was another elder in his mission that went home early. Michael was in a trio companionship so he was transferred over to be the remaining elder's companion. Michael received a call from President Clark (his mission president) on Saturday, June 1st at 6:30 AM. He was on his way to play basketball with his companions as part of their morning exercise routine when he received the call. President Clark asked him to meet him at his office in one hour and to bring all of his belongings. The trio skipped basketball and headed back to their apartment so that Michael could pack. He met President Clark and reassigned him to a new companionship. Later in the week, Michael was transferred again into a completely new area and with a different companion. Wow, two transfers in one week! Michael is amazing, he took it all in stride and new that is what the Lord wanted and was ready to serve wherever needed. He has been assigned as a zone leader (zone leaders supervise, encourage and instruct all of the missionaries in his area). This is great leadership experience for him, he never ceases to amazing me!

Here is Michael with Sister and President Clark and with Elder (?) as part of his emergency transfer.

Here is Michael with his new companion Elder Pixton. They are zone leaders in the Rancho Santa Margarita zone. He is inland now at the base of the mountains so it is much hotter there than by the ocean. He told me that it was in the mid-90's his first week.

Weekly Email - 3 June 2019

Hi everyone,

I hope your week was good. Mine was too. We found a bunch of new people that are golden and we have been getting fellowshipers for them too. The wards are really being the missionaries now it's been cool. We taught a really cool lesson to a mother we met who said that she is really excited to be meeting and wants to join the gospel! We have really been following the spirit really well lately it has led us to where we need to be and who we need to meet. There were 3 experiences like that this week it was really cool. Oh ya and by the way I am in a new area with new companion because I got emergency transferred in when he needed a companion.

Weekly Email - 27 May 2019 (Titled: Gathering of the Corn)

Hi Everyone,

I hope your week was good. Mine was great! We had a lot of fun and learned a lot of new things. It's always the best after you have just found a lot of new people and now your setting up lessons and seeing if they are really interested. Because after that then you get to do it all over again. Right now we are at the setting up appointment stage and it has been really fun. Something cool we did this week was focused on attributes that Christ has and talking about and studying about how to apply them. Other than that no funny or weird stories that I can remember from this week so it was spirit led and tons of fun!

Missionary Interviews and Luxury Cars - 27 May 2019

This is a picture of Michael's trio companionship with Elder Archibald (left) and Elder Campbell (right). They are interviewed by their mission president on a regular basis. He also sent me a picture of a Lamborghini that was parked on the side of the road. In the area that Michael lives, this is a pretty common sight.

P-Day 27 May 2019

Monday is P-Day. Michael's zone got together for a fun activity and joined the Spanish speaking elders with enjoying a Mexican corn roast. Mexican corn sounds pretty good, it is grilled corn that is covered in mayo, parmesan cheese and hot sauce. Looks like they had a great time.
